The CEO Commitment by Ty Wapato

There is no turning back!

The responsibility for all that money and all those people rests on the shoulders of one person. True, that person, Karen Lynch as of February 2021, will have a lot of help but the responsibility is all hers. She was appointed to take control of the company’s $230 Billion in assets by the 13 members of the CVS Board of Directors.* For the record, the picture above is NOT Karen Lynch.

Can you imagine the amount of soul-searching the board members did before putting the safety of $230 Billion of other people’s money in one person’s hands?

The amount of revenue and the number of workers may be magnitudes higher than your business, but the risk is not. As CEO of your independent business, you are putting it all on the line. You are putting your cash on the line, you are putting your future on the line, you are putting your family’s welfare on the line.

A person cannot rise to the CEO level of a major corporation without demonstrating commitment. They are committed to doing the absolute best they can at whatever task is at hand. They are committed to doing whatever is needed to accomplish the goals in front of them. They are committed to whatever labor, resources, or investments necessary to be successful.

They are committed to acquiring all of the personal skills and knowledge that will assure that success.

Failing to commit is failing to succeed.

Think for a minute about what commitment means to you. Common usage has weakened the power of the word so much that it has become trite. Like its synonyms, promise, pledge, devotion, dedication, all have lost their true meaning, which meant something that was unbreakable, inviolable, an absolute.

That is the commitment that your business needs. Forward is the only direction. Success is the only focus. There is no possibility of turning back. The bridges have been burned. Quitting is not an option. You have given your word to yourself; you cannot renege on that.

When you commit to something your mind will open itself to seeing only the information that leads to success. It will ignore anything that is negative. As Sartre said, “commitment is an act, not a word.” It will take many repetitions of the act before the mind is fully trained for success.

If you make the first act of commitment today you cannot turn back. The bridges have been burned.

What's the report about?

Network Marketing has a miniscule success rate. One percent is at the high end of the reported level of success.

The business model is not the reason. It is a valid and fair construction. Yet most people immediately associate it with scams, or top-weighted schemes where only the creators make money.

Despite its poor reputation it is a growing industry generating billions of dollars of annual revenue.

It is the easiest way for an entrepreneur to turn their investment into profit.

This is an ongoing research project to learn the causes of the high failure rate from individuals that are, or have been, actively involved in the industry.

We believe this information will be valuable to network marketers and will help them develop winning strategies in their businesses.

We will be issuing periodic reports of the findings completely free of charge to encourage improvement of the success ratio.
