The CEO Big Bucks by Ty Wapato

CEO pilots

The first thing is to look at why the CEO gets the big bucks. The CEO is like the pilot of a big plane—a really big plane. The CEO decides if the plane goes left or right, goes up or down, where its destination is.

Individuals in Network Marketing are engaged in selling products or services and by association they are in an organization doing that business. The fact that they own their portion of the organization makes them the highest ranking individual in their business.

The CEO takes responsibility for all those decisions, for the well-being of all the passengers, for the care of the plane to preserve its value to the owners, and for reaching the destination safely and on time.

Taking responsibility means no finger-pointing, blaming, or excuses. That's why the CEO gets the big money.

Making the decisions and taking the responsibility for your business, where it is going, what direction it will take to get there, assuring the well-being of your customers is how you will get the CEO’s big bucks.

The first decision is, "Where do you want to go?" You need to have a very specific destination before you can start your flight plan. And you have to file your flight plan before you can take off.

Since the last quarter on 2020 we have been conducting a major research project exploring why the Network Marketing industry has a 99% failure rate. Having a hazy idea of the destination is proving to be a top reason.

Very few had a clearly defined reason for starting their business. Most were as vague as “to make more money” or “to have more freedom” and “to be my own boss.” These are all good starting points for a reason to start a business, but they fall disastrously short of a compelling reason.

When they did not set a specific amount of money that would satisfy them, or have an unambiguous definition of more freedom, or what were the benefits of being their own boss they did not have any way to measure their success, and without a feeling of success the work becomes unbearable drudgery.

The few that had more success in all areas of their lives also had detailed reasons for owning a business, they decided how much money they wanted to make, or how having their own business would remove restraints imposed by their job, or exactly how they could manage themselves better than their past employers did.

In another post we describe what having that kind of clarity in your goals and desires means ,and we’ll give you some practical suggestions and processes that will help you reach it.

We aim above the mark to hit the mark.

What's the report about?

Network Marketing has a miniscule success rate. One percent is at the high end of the reported level of success.

The business model is not the reason. It is a valid and fair construction. Yet most people immediately associate it with scams, or top-weighted schemes where only the creators make money.

Despite its poor reputation it is a growing industry generating billions of dollars of annual revenue.

It is the easiest way for an entrepreneur to turn their investment into profit.

This is an ongoing research project to learn the causes of the high failure rate from individuals that are, or have been, actively involved in the industry.

We believe this information will be valuable to network marketers and will help them develop winning strategies in their businesses.

We will be issuing periodic reports of the findings completely free of charge to encourage improvement of the success ratio.
